Description:

The position will be part of a large project facilities team based in Jeddah and will provide Front of House (or Soft Services) Management leadership in this iconic building. The post holder’s main responsibilities will be the management of the building owners/tenants and visitors, soft services team, supply chain contractors with varying degree of functions (security, cleaning, waste management, reception services, etc.) and staff to provide 5-star standards of service delivery to the building occupants. Part of a focused and dynamic team, delivering a multi-faceted, co-ordinated facilities management service. This is a proactive role, which requires someone who is able to consider wider team issues whilst developing and refining the service. The ability to provide the service to agreed SLA levels whilst working within strict budgetary controls will be a prerequisite. Duties and Responsibilities: • Managing the occupant and visitors building experience to the highest standards • Monitoring of and delivering to Service Level Agreements and KPI’s • Providing budget information analyses • Providing support to other facilities areas as necessary to ensure the delivery of an exceptional level of service, i.e. liaising with occupants and building management to ensure full and proactive business support is provided to their areas of responsibility. • Review and implement dynamic operational working procedures to support the delivery of service excellence • Develop strong communication and line reporting procedures to guide service implementation, making improvements or changes where required with planned follow up and review • Implement and uphold safe working practices to ensure safety of building occupiers and visitors at all times, e.g. conduct fire safety evacuation drills. • Lead monthly management report and service delivery performance meetings with the sub-contractors captured in periodic operational reports and improvement plans and build strong relationships with both Supply Chain and FM project management • Lead as a customer interface in delivering building owner/tenants inductions • Introduce systems for analysis of service delivery, i.e. mystery visitors, building occupants surveys, etc. • Invest time and energy in the management, development and motivation of soft services team’s performance, promoting achievements and identifying weaker areas for improvement and development, in a manner to ensure the highest quality and value for money while maintaining high team morale. Key Skills & Attributes (These are the fundamental requirements of the job) • The successful candidate will have management experience working either for a large multi-services contracting company, 5-Star hotel, hospital or similar with experience in managing client and corporate services to a 5 star standard. A wealth of staff and change management experience is essential. • A pre-requisite for the role is excellent people management skills with a proven track record in this area. • The post holder will be able to operate with minimal input from senior management, exercise excellent judgement and decision making and be totally customer service driven. • The post holder must be capable of organizing large volumes of work for both themselves and others, able to multi-task, work to tight deadlines when necessary and produce high quality work under pressure. • The post-holder with be confident in both when to make a decision, and when to seek further clarification on a decision. • The post holder will be a clear self-starter with the ability to demonstrate innovation and drive. • The post holder will have experience of and ability to deliver classroom and ‘on the job’ training in a dynamic and motivational way
