JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATION (JDQ) Job Title : QC SUPERVISOR – CIVIL Qualifications: • Graduate of Engineering Course (Degree According to Discipline) • Must have good command of the English language, both oral & written • Computer literate Reports To: QA/QC Manager Principal Duties & Responsibilities:  Witness all site inspections within their disciplines  Coordinate all site inspections with the site subcontractors  Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are on current status  Review all inspection reports for compliance  Assist the site QC Manager in the organization, maintenance and control of the quality system  Prepare non-conformance reports & submit to the QA Manager and assist in developing corrective actions  Assist the QC Manager and Construction Manager in resolving any discrepancies and ambiguities pertaining to quality.  Coordinate with the customers QC Supervisors for the resolution of site problems  Attend the weekly QC meetings and note the Agenda for the upcoming week.  Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good work practices and the customers' contract specializations.  Review of inspection test packages during the course of construction activities  Review & endorse to QC Manager completion of QC site instructions and coordinate their closure.  Update the data of project QC Inspectors periodically.  Coordinate with the Construction Manager for completion of Quality inspection in line with schedule. Experience : • With 5 – 10 years experience in the construction industry specifically high rise buildings, hotels, malls, etc., 5 years as an inspector in their respective field of discipline. • Gulf experience is an advantage.
